AI data platform company Vast Data collaborated with cloud networking solutions provider Arista Networks to offer optimised AI infrastructure, combining ethernet switching with a performant platform that can scale to meet the needs of enterprises and GPU cloud service providers.
The Vast Data Platform's Disaggregated Shared-Everything (DASE) architecture, paired with Arista Networks' networking, maintain resilient data access for optimised GPU-accelerated computing.
“As enterprises continue to adopt and integrate genAI across their businesses, modern AI applications require an accelerated computing network that can interconnect hundreds and thousands of GPUs, with fast access to massive unstructured data sets distributed across the globe,” said Vast Data vice president, general manager cloud and AI networking Martin Hull.
“We are consolidating and optimising AI infrastructure to empower enterprises to unlock the full potential of AI.”

“Today’s new AI workloads require a new type of data infrastructure, built on top of a radically different architecture than before,” said Vast Data vice president strategic alliances John Mao.
“With Vast and Arista, organisations can consolidate enterprise and AI workloads onto a unified, multi-tenant infrastructure designed to streamline their AI data pipelines, simplify management, and reduce complexity - allowing them to focus on deriving value from their entire data set and accelerate innovation.”
In addition to the partnership, Vast Data has deployed Arista Ethernet switches for use in production at scale, today.
