Physical security and IoT unified management and monitoring platform Genetec has announced new experience centres, offices, and R&D hubs around the world to help accelerate its customers growth.
Genetec provides an all-in-one platform that unifies physical access controls, security cameras, license plate recognition, and other security and IoT elements into a single platform to help organisations of all sizes better manage their security. Genetec has also released its Security Centre SaaS offering only a month ago, meaning organisations don't even need to worry about on-premises servers.
The company today announced it is expanding its global footprint to bring new research and development hubs in strategic locations worldwide. The new hubs will be in Vienna, Krakow, and Orléans, complementing the existing hubs in Québec, Sherbrooke, Paris, and Bruges.
This follows from Genetec's recent new state-of-the-art Experience Centres (XCs) that opened in Sydney, Washington D.C., and Dubai. These three new centres join the existing Experience Centres in Montréal, Paris, London, Singapore, and Mexico City.

Further, Genetec has significantly expanded its offices in London, Paris, Vienna, and São Paulo.
“These new offices serve as innovation hubs, fostering collaboration amongst our developers as they build the forward-thinking technology that Genetec is known for. Our newest R&D centres will bolster existing initiatives and new capabilities such as intelligent automation,” said Genetec VP product engineering Christian Morin. “Not surprisingly, to meet the growing demand for Genetec innovation, we've grown our R&D team by 50% in the past five years."

Since 2020, the company has grown its total headcount by 52% and has over 2,100 employees in 20 offices across four continents. As part of its ongoing efforts to accommodate its organic growth, the company is presently recruiting to fill over 80 new positions, including over 30 openings in R&D across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions.
