New Zealand utility company Genesis Energy has picked AI-powered cloud data management Informatica to infuse data-driven business practices to its operations.
Genesis Energy plans to use data to drive efficiencies and to help customers on their energy transition journey.
To prepare for data and AI solutions, it is seeking to consolidate data from a complex and distributed ecosystem including a data warehouse, data lake, and other data solutions supporting its generation and retail operations.
So, it decided to implement Informatica’s Cloud Data Governance and Catalogue, backed by AI-powered intelligent data management cloud.

Deploying the solution enabled Genesis Energy to achieve a centralised data governance framework.
