Data centre provider Princeton Digital Group (PDG) announced it acquired land for its 500MW capacity expansion in key markets across Asia.
PDG’s data centre portfolio spans six countries: Singapore, Japan, India, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia.
PDG claimed that 500MW of land would drive a US$5 billion investment program for PDG.
The 500MW capacity spans Mumbai, Chennai, Johor, and Jakarta, occupying over 88 acres.

The 500MW capacity contributed 100MW power to PDG’s flagship Mumbai data centre MU1, bringing the total to 150MW.
It also contributed 72MW in Chennai, bringing the company’s footprint in India to 230MW.
Johor will become a 370MW region for PDG with the addition of 200 MW.
The expansion also includes a 100MW site in Jakarta.
“Over the last 18 months, AI has completely transformed the data centre landscape. First, we saw the sharp rise in demand in North America, followed by the initial wave of AI-driven demand in Asia,” said PDG chairman, CEO, and co-founder Rangu Salgame.
“In anticipation of the continued growth of AI demand, and driven by the strategic needs of our customers, we have now acquired a further 500MW of powered land and expansion footprint.”
“By securing access and roadmap to full power in these locations, we continue to be positioned to meet the Pan Asia customer demand for scalable, AI-ready data center capacity built by an experienced, world-class team.”
