Hybrid platform for data, analytics, and AI Cloudera launched its private link network to address critical data security and privacy concerns for highly regulated organisations with strict internal data security policies.
The private link network provides connectivity from customer workloads to the Cloudera Control Plane, ensuring that data does not traverse the public Internet.
It solves privacy challenges by providing a unified, cross-cloud private connectivity service to secure manage data-intensive workloads across multiple cloud environments through a single, specialised network.
It integrates across major cloud providers using existing cloud provider services like AWS PrivateLink and Azure Private Link and other network infrastructure such as multi-cloud connectivity.

This setup extends secure data transfer across multiple cloud environments, to enable consistent security and streamlined management.
Customers can self-serve and provision services using the Cloudera Command Line Interface.

Cloudera field chief technology officer ANZ Vini Cardoso stated organisations are making investments in hybrid and multi-cloud environments to scale genAI-enabled applications.
However, he points out that security remains a “critical issue, with data breaches becoming increasingly common.”
